The Humane Society of Bay County is an active, all-volunteer part of its community.  We are active in several educational and fundraising events throughout the year.  Monthly board meetings are open to the public and held the third Thursday of every month at Animal Control.

MISSION    STATEMENT

The purpose of the society is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education.  Our goal is to improve the health and welfare of the animals in our community, to educate the public into becoming responsible animal owners and to be a part of a new community shelter with and education center.
