| The Humane Society of Bay
County is involved in many programs throughout the year. We rely on the
support of our community and the energy of our volunteers to provide
these events.
MISSION
STATEMENT
The purpose of the society is the prevention of cruelty to
animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of
humane education. Our goal is to improve the health and welfare of the
animals in our community, to educate the public into becoming
responsible animal owners and to be a part of a new community shelter
with and education center.
We are 100% staffed with volunteers. No one receives a paycheck for
what they do with us. All of your donations go towards our many
programs.
Pet
Memorials offer grieving owners and their loved ones an opportunity
to honor the life of a beloved pet.
Rebates
are offered periodically in the year to promote healthy animals and
encourage sterilization. Click Here for
your certificate.
Scholarships for Bay County students pursuing an animal-related
career are available.
